WEBSITES, LOCAL SEO AND ADS FOR BARBERSHOPS.
Most barbershop customers pick a shop from the map, glance at the fades in the photos, and either book or walk in. We make that path short: a fast site, a sharp Business Profile and ads aimed at the blocks around your shop.
WHERE THE LEADS LEAK
- Walk-in policy is a mystery. A guy on his lunch break wants to know one thing: can he walk in right now, or does he need a slot. If neither the profile nor the site says so, he drives to the shop that does.
- Barbers listed nowhere. Regulars follow a barber by name and often search for them. Without a short section on each barber, their style and their booking link, the shop loses the search that should be the easiest win.
- Photos are mostly the storefront. A picture of the sign does not sell a skin fade or a beard lineup. Clear shots of fresh cuts from several angles, with the customer's okay, are what make someone choose your chair.
- Kids' cuts and beard work unmentioned. Parents search for a barber who is good with kids, and plenty of men search for hot towel shaves or beard trims. If those services are missing from the profile and site, those searches go elsewhere.
- Sunday and late hours not shown. Barbers who work early mornings, evenings or Sundays have an edge, but only if the hours are listed correctly. Wrong or missing hours send people away at exactly the times you are open and others are not.
WHAT THE SETUP LOOKS LIKE
The website
A barbershop site should load fast and put three things on the first screen: book now, walk-in details, and the address with a map link. We design, write and build it in 24 to 48 hours from the kickoff, with tap-to-call and a link into whatever booking tool your barbers use.
Below that, a plain service list with cut names people actually search, such as fades, tapers, lineups, beard trims and kids' cuts, plus a short section for each barber. You look over the wording before it goes live and again after, so it sounds like your shop and not an ad agency.
The Google Business Profile
We claim or set up the profile, pick barber shop as the primary category, and list each service with a short description. The booking link, walk-in note, accessibility and payment details all go where clients look first. For shops inside a mall or a plaza, we make sure the pin and directions lead to your door, not the parking lot across the road.
Photos of fresh cuts, the chairs and the barbers at work do most of the persuading, so we keep new ones coming. Reviews are the other half: we help you ask customers at the chair for an honest review, and we reply to each one, including the rare complaint about a wait time.
The ads
Google Ads for barbers work within a small radius, with searches like 'barber near me', 'fade haircut' and 'walk in barber', and negative keywords for barber schools, clipper shopping and job posts. Ads can run hardest in the hours when chairs sit empty, such as weekday mornings.
Meta ads on Instagram and Facebook show short clips of cuts to men and parents near the shop, which is often how a new barbershop gets known in a neighbourhood. We track calls, bookings and direction requests. Auctions decide who sees what, so nobody can promise a set number of customers, but the reports show what the spend is doing.
SEARCHES TO RANK FOR
- barber near me
- barbershop near me
- fade haircut near me
- walk in barber near me
- best barber in [city]
- kids haircut barber [city]
- beard trim near me
- hot towel shave in [city]
- taper fade [city]
- barber open sunday near me
- black barbershop in [city]
- men's haircut near me
Use the cut names your barbers really specialise in, on the profile services and on the site. The [city] versions fit service sections and page titles; 'near me' searches rely on the profile and your distance.
WHERE WE WORK
GUIDES FOR THIS TRADE
FAQ
Most of our customers are walk-ins. Is an online booking button still worth adding for a walk-in shop?
Not necessarily. What matters is that the profile and site say clearly how it works, walk-in only, booking only or both, so nobody shows up confused.
Should every barber have their own Instagram linked on the site?
It helps, since clients follow barbers for their style. We link each barber's portfolio from their section, as long as the barber is happy with it.
Can you put us first on Google Maps?
No agency can promise that, because Google ranks local results mainly on relevance, distance and prominence. We improve the parts you control and show you the changes every month.
Is it okay to give a discount for a review?
No. Google does not allow incentives for reviews, and they can be removed. A quick ask at the end of a good cut works better and keeps the reviews real.
We rent chairs to independent barbers. Who owns the profile?
The shop owner should hold the profile for the shop itself. Individual barbers can be featured on the site, and we check Google's rules before anyone creates a separate listing.
