ABOUT CONQUEROR

who we are
Who is Conqueror Capital?

Conqueror Capital builds websites, local SEO, ads and $0-fee card processing for small businesses. Full details are in our Terms of Service.

Do you have an office I can visit?

No. We are a remote agency, with no storefront or local office to visit. We work with owners by phone, email and video call. See how we work.

Who do you work with?

Businesses of every size across the US and Canada, from a first shop to multi-location and enterprise teams. See our pages for restaurants, home services, med spas, retail and grocery stores.

Who owns my accounts?

Your business does. Your Google Business Profile, ad accounts, analytics, domain and website should belong to your business, not to us; we are added as a manager. More on our About page.

What do you actually do?

We build websites in 24 to 48 hours, run local SEO and Google and Meta ads, manage social media, and broker $0-fee card processing. You can take one piece or all of them.

Who will I be dealing with day to day?

The people who build your site. No account managers reading scripts, and they answer your calls, nights included. More on our About page.

Do you work with businesses in Canada?

Yes. We work with businesses across the US and Canada. Card-network and provincial rules differ, so anything payment-related is checked for your location before setup. See websites + payments.

What languages do you work in?

We speak English, French and Spanish, and arrange an interpreter for other languages. This site is published in seventeen languages; the list is in the footer.

How are you different from Hibu, LOCALiQ or Thryv?

Those are larger platforms, and two of them sell business software we do not offer. We are a small team that does the work for you, with no contract. We keep plain side-by-sides using only what each company publishes: Hibu, LOCALiQ and Thryv.

WEBSITES

built for you
How much work is a website for me?

Very little. You answer a few questions about your business on the call and send anything you already have, like a logo or photos. Details on websites.

Do you write the words on the site?

Yes. We write the copy from what you tell us, and you review it before and after it goes live.

Will a new website show up on Google right away?

Not necessarily. Search engines decide when and where to show new pages, so nobody can promise a ranking or a date.

What should a small business website include?

Our small business website checklist covers the basics, and website speed explains how Google measures page experience.

Do I need to own a domain already?

No, but the domain should be registered in your business's name so it stays yours. Domain registration and hosting are pass-through costs, separate from plan fees, as set out in our Terms of Service. We cover it on the strategy call.

Can you rebuild a site I already have?

Yes. Most owners who come to us have a site that is slow, hard to use on a phone, or does not make it obvious how to call, book or order. Our website checklist shows where yours stands.

Is the site built for phones?

Yes. Every site is mobile-first and built to be fast, because most local searches happen on a phone. See website speed and Core Web Vitals.

Can I get changes made after launch?

Yes. You review the copy before and after it goes live, and you have a direct line to the people who built it. What is included each month is set out in the plan you pick, and we go through it on the call.

Do you think about accessibility?

Yes, and our guide to website accessibility for small businesses covers the WCAG basics and the checks any owner can run. Whether your business has a legal obligation is a question for your own advisor.

What happens to the website if I cancel?

On full payment we assign you the rights in the final work created for you, other than our own general-purpose tools and templates, which you keep a licence to use inside your site. After cancellation we may deactivate hosting and accounts we manage for you, and may delete stored materials after 30 days, so export anything you want to keep. Full detail in our Terms of Service.

LOCAL SEO & GOOGLE BUSINESS PROFILE

getting found nearby
Can you guarantee #1 on Google?

No. Google's own guide says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google (Do you need an SEO?). Our guide on how to choose a local SEO agency covers what to ask instead.

How long does local SEO take?

There is no fixed timeline. It depends on your competition, your category, where your profile and site start, and how many real reviews you earn. More on local SEO.

Can every business get a Google Business Profile?

No. Google only allows a profile for businesses that meet in person with customers, at a staffed location or at the customer's location. See Google Business Profile setup.

Who owns my Google Business Profile?

You do. We set it up in your name and are added as a manager, so you keep owner access.

How do you get reviews?

We help you ask real customers for honest reviews. We do not write, buy or incentivize reviews. See how to get more Google reviews.

What do I actually get each month with local SEO?

Local SEO work on your site and your Business Profile, plus monthly reporting on calls, clicks and customers, so you can see what the work is doing. More on local SEO.

What are citations, and do they still matter?

Citations are your business name, phone and website on the directories and platforms that matter for your type of business. We keep them consistent. See business listings and citations.

My Google Business Profile is suspended. Can you help?

We can look at what usually triggers a suspension and what the reinstatement process involves, but Google decides the outcome and nobody can promise reinstatement. Start with our guide on a suspended Business Profile.

Do you reply to my reviews?

Yes. We reply to reviews professionally, including the unhappy ones. Google can reject a reply, and now tells you why so it can be edited; see our note on review reply moderation.

Can I offer a discount to customers who leave a review?

We will not set that up. Incentivized reviews break platform rules and can get a business in trouble with consumer protection regulators; see our note on incentivized reviews. What applies to your business is a question for your own legal advisor.

I go to my customers instead of them coming to me. Does local SEO still work?

Often yes. Google allows a profile for businesses that meet customers at the customer's location, and service-area pages can do the rest. See Business Profile setup and local landing pages.

How do I know the work is really being done?

The accounts are in your name, so you can look inside them at any time, and you get monthly reporting on calls, clicks and customers. Our guide to Search Console shows how to check what Google sees.

Do you use shortcuts to move things faster?

No. No fake reviews, no paid reviews, no incentives, no review gating, and no listings at virtual offices or addresses you do not operate from. Those things get businesses suspended. Our guide on how to choose a local SEO agency covers the red flags.

GOOGLE & META ADS

paid placement
Do you guarantee results from ads?

No. Ad platforms run auctions, and results depend on your market, offer, budget and competition. More on Google & Meta ads.

Can ads target only people near my business?

Yes. Google and Meta both let campaigns target people by location, such as a radius around your business or the areas you serve. See location-based advertising.

Is the ad budget included?

We cover plans, pricing and how ad budgets work on the strategy call, so you know the full cost before anything runs. Our Google Ads budget guide explains how budgets work.

Should I start with local SEO or Google Ads?

They do different jobs, and the right order depends on your business. Our guide compares local SEO vs Google Ads.

Who owns the ad account?

Your business does. We run Google and Meta ads in accounts you own and are added as a manager, so the history stays with you if we part ways.

Is ad spend part of the plan fee?

No. Advertising spend is a pass-through cost and is separate from plan fees, as set out in our Terms of Service. We go through plans, pricing and how budgets work on the call so you know the full cost before anything runs.

What is a negative keyword?

A term you tell Google not to match, so you stop paying for searches that will never become customers. See match types and negative keywords.

Do you run Local Services Ads?

Local Services Ads are a separate Google product with their own eligibility and screening requirements, and Google has been moving them into Performance Max. Whether they fit is something we look at on the call. See Google Local Services Ads.

How do you know whether the ads are working?

Calls, forms and bookings are set up as conversions, so reports show customers and not only clicks. See tracking phone calls from Google and Google Analytics 4 setup.

Can ads be aimed at more than one area?

Yes. Location targeting can cover several neighborhoods, cities or service areas, and the reports show where results come from. See location-based advertising.

SOCIAL MEDIA

content and posting
Do you write the posts?

Yes. Content is written and posted for you each month, based on what you tell us about your business. See social media.

How much work is social media management for me?

Very little. You run your business and send photos or news when you have them.

Which platforms do you post on?

We scope that on the call, based on where your customers actually look you up. For businesses that want more, full social media management runs across channels. See social media.

Do I have to hand over my passwords?

Your accounts stay in your name. Where a platform supports manager or partner access, that is what we use. Anything you do share with us is treated as confidential under our Terms of Service.

Can you put money behind the posts?

Yes, paid campaigns on Meta are built and managed end to end alongside the organic content. See Google & Meta ads and our Meta ads guide.

PAYMENTS

websites and card processing
Do I have to switch processors to get the website?

No. The website and the processing are separate services. See websites + payments.

Who actually handles the processing?

Processing is arranged through CELER Merchants, our sister brand. We are an independent broker and work with third-party providers such as Clover, Elavon and TSYS; we do not process payments directly.

What about my current processing contract?

Bring your latest statement and contract details to the call, and we will look at what it would take to change before you decide anything. Our guide explains how card processing fees work.

Do the card fees really disappear?

No, and anyone saying otherwise is selling. Interchange rates and fees are set by the card networks and banks. A $0-fee program changes who pays them, usually through a compliant surcharge or cash-discount structure, so the cost stops coming out of your margin. See websites + payments.

Is surcharging allowed where my business is?

Rules on surcharging and cash discounts vary by card network and by state or province. We walk through what applies to your business and location before anything is set up. Nothing here is legal advice, so confirm with your own advisor.

How long does processing setup take?

Processing runs on its own timeline because approval and underwriting are decided by the provider, not by us. The website does not wait on it. See websites + payments.

Which providers would I end up with?

Third-party providers such as Clover, Elavon or TSYS, arranged through our sister brand CELER Merchants. We are an independent broker and do not process payments directly.

Will I save as much as the examples you show?

Not necessarily. Our examples are drawn from prior merchants and are illustrative, not a promise or a quote. Your savings depend on your volume, ticket size and card mix, as set out in our Terms of Service. Our guide explains how card processing fees work.

Can I keep the terminal I have?

Bring your latest statement and contract details to the call. Equipment, funding times and terms are governed by your agreement with the provider, so we look at what you have before anything changes.

WORKING TOGETHER

getting started
How do I get started?

Book a 15-minute strategy call on our homepage or call 1-888-705-7896.

How much does it cost?

It depends on scope, so plans and pricing are covered on the strategy call, before anything starts.

What do you report on?

Calls, clicks and customers, so you can see what the work is doing. Our guide on tracking phone calls from Google shows how calls are measured.

Are the projects on your work page real clients?

No. They are example projects that show what we can build. We do not publish client results, and your results depend on your industry, location and market.

What do you need from me to start?

Accurate business details, any content and photos you have, access to the accounts involved, and a reasonably quick yes or no on what we send you to review. That list is in our Terms of Service.

How often will I hear from you?

Monthly reporting on calls, clicks and customers, plus a direct line to the people doing the work whenever you need it. Email is our official channel for anything about your account.

What happens if Google or Meta changes the rules?

Those platforms change ranking, delivery and approval rules on their own, without notice, and we do not control them. We adjust the work and tell you what changed. Our blog tracks the changes as they land.

Can I see examples of your work?

Yes. See our example projects: Sunset Boutique, Terra Kitchen, Haven Med Spa and Mercado Central. They show what we build, not client results.

PRICING & CONTRACTS

what it costs
Do I have to sign a contract?

No contracts and no minimum term. Plans are monthly and you can cancel anytime. The full terms are in our Terms of Service.

How does billing work?

Plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically at the price shown until you cancel, charged on the same billing day each month. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

How do I cancel?

Two ways: open the billing portal link in your purchase receipt, or email [email protected] from the address on your account. We process it within two business days and confirm by email. There is no cancellation fee.

Do I get a refund if I cancel?

No. Fees are non-refundable once work begins, including partial months and unused time, because design, development and media resources are committed straight away. Service continues through the end of the period you have paid for. See our Terms of Service.

What is not included in the plan fee?

Advertising spend, domain registration, hosting, premium plugins, stock media and similar pass-through costs, plus applicable taxes. They are your costs and are separate from plan fees unless your plan expressly says otherwise.

Can you raise the price later?

Plan pricing can change, and we give at least 30 days' notice by email before it takes effect for your subscription. If you do not accept the new price, cancel before the effective date.

What are the plans called, and how do I choose?

Launch, Growth and Dominate. Launch is for a shop with no website, Growth adds local SEO, content and reporting, and Dominate adds ads, full social management and client acquisition campaigns. What each one includes is on the homepage, and we help you pick on the call.

What happens if a payment fails?

We may retry the charge, suspend the services and continue to pursue what is owed. Any fees your own bank or card issuer charges you are yours. Keeping your payment details current avoids all of it.

Why is your pricing not published?

Because scope drives it: how many locations and service areas you cover, how much your site and profile need fixing, how competitive your category is locally, and whether you want ads or social as well. We quote after a strategy call, once we know what the work involves.

MID-SIZE & ENTERPRISE

more than one location
Are you only for small businesses?

No. We work with small, mid-size and larger companies, including multi-location businesses. The building blocks are the same at every size: a website, local SEO per location, Google and Meta ads, social media and brokered $0-fee card processing. Scope is set on a strategy call.

Can you manage Business Profiles for more than one location?

Yes, as part of our local SEO service, with every profile owned by your business and us added as a manager. See Business Profile for multiple locations.

Does every location need its own page on our website?

Yes. Google asks for a phone number or website that represents the individual location, so each profile should link to its own page with that location's address, hours, staff and real photos. Pages that only swap the city name are the doorway pages Google warns about; see local landing pages.

Can our locations be verified in bulk?

Google's bulk verification requires 10 or more profiles from the same business, and Google says agencies managing multiple businesses in one account cannot use it. So the profiles stay owned by your business and the request goes in from your account. Details in Business Profile for multiple locations.

How do you keep our name, phone and hours consistent across every location?

Each location gets its own profile, its own store code and its own page, and the same details are kept consistent across the directories that matter for your type of business. See business listings and citations.

Can ads be run separately for each location or market?

Yes. Location targeting can be set per store or per service area, and reports show where results come from so budget can move toward the markets that perform. See location-based advertising and Performance Max for local business.

Will we get a dedicated account manager?

No, and that is deliberate. There are no account managers reading scripts here. The people who build and run your work answer your calls, nights included. More on our About page.

We already have an in-house marketing team. Can you work alongside them?

Yes. We work inside accounts your business owns, with manager access, so your team keeps full visibility and control. Which pieces we take and which stay in-house is decided on the strategy call.

RESULTS & EXPECTATIONS

what we do not promise
What should I expect in the first month?

The site live, the Business Profile claimed and set up, tracking in place, and the first monthly report on calls, clicks and customers. What search does with it is up to Google, and we do not put a date on it.

Can you guarantee a number of leads?

No. Nobody can honestly guarantee leads, rankings or sales. We measure calls, clicks and customers and report on them monthly so you can see what is working. See client acquisition.

What if it is not working?

You see the numbers monthly, you own the accounts, and you can cancel anytime with no penalty. In between, we tell you what we would change and why. That is the whole reason there is no contract.

Why will you not promise a ranking?

Because no one controls where Google places a business, and Google's own guidance says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking. We tell you what we will do and show you what happened. See how to choose a local SEO agency.

GETTING STARTED & TIMELINES

how fast, what we need
What happens on the strategy call?

Fifteen minutes on what you sell, who buys it, where your customers come from and what you want people to do: call, book, order or visit. We look at how you show up in local search today and what we would change first. No pressure, no sales pitch.

What should I bring to the call?

Anything you already have: a logo, photos, your current website address, and a recent card processing statement if payments are part of it. If you have an existing marketing or processing agreement, bring that too.

Do I need a card to book a call?

No. The call is 15 minutes, free and with no obligation. Book it on our homepage or call 1-888-705-7896.

When does the 24 to 48 hour clock start?

At kickoff, once we have the basics from you. Most sites are designed, written, built and live within 48 hours of that point. Details on websites.

If I take more than the website, what order does the work happen in?

Foundations first: the site and your Google Business Profile, claimed and set up in your name. Then the channels that fill the pipeline, based on where people drop off. See client acquisition.

DATA, PRIVACY & OWNERSHIP

who owns what
Who owns the website and the work you produce?

You do, once everything owed is paid. At that point we assign you the rights in the final work made for you, other than our own general-purpose frameworks, templates and tooling, which you keep a perpetual licence to use inside your deliverables. Full detail in our Terms of Service.

If we part ways, what happens to my accounts and files?

Your Business Profile, ad accounts, analytics, domain and website are in your business's name, so they stay with you and our manager access is removed. We may delete materials we stored after 30 days, so export anything you want to keep before you cancel.

Do you sell my information?

No. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never shared for anyone's marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

Will there be tracking on my website?

Conversion tracking and analytics are set up in accounts your business owns, so calls, forms and bookings can be measured; see Google Analytics 4 setup. What your own site must disclose about that is governed by your privacy policy, and is a question for your own advisor.

Can I see or delete the information you hold about me?

Yes. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request" and say what you want us to do. We respond within 45 days for US requests and 30 days for Canadian requests. See our Privacy Policy.

AI SEARCH & THE FUTURE

AI Overviews and chatbots
Can you get ChatGPT to recommend my business?

No, and walk away from anyone who promises it. What we can do is make sure your site is not blocking the search crawlers by accident and that your details match everywhere. See AI search for local business.

Should I block AI crawlers from my site?

That is your call, and the two kinds are different. Blocking a training crawler is separate from blocking the crawlers that surface your site in AI answers; block the second kind and you lose the visibility. Each company's rules are laid out in AI search for local business.
